A pirate stole airbags and other parts from a car parked on Coleman Street sometime overnight on Jan. 5.
The car’s owner told police that he left his vehicle between Flatlands Avenue and Avenue P around 9 pm. The next day at 7:40 am he discovered his driver-side window busted in, according to police.
Cops said the car’s driver- and passenger-side airbags were taken, along with a glove box and the air conditioning unit.
Lost and found
A pilferer picked up a woman’s wallet she dropped in her Avenue U driveway on Jan. 4.
The woman told cops that she dropped her wallet in the driveway of her home near E. 74th Street around 3:30 pm. When she realized her mistake an hour later, she checked her home surveillance feed on her phone and saw someone enter her driveway and pick up her wallet, which contained several of credit cards, according to police.

Someone charged $10,000 worth of transactions to an Avenue P woman’s credit card between Dec. 27 and Jan. 5.
The woman, who lives near E. 35th Street, told police that she was expecting a new credit card in the mail, but never received it. She did, however, receive a statement, and noticed someone made four different purchases to her card, according to police.
Withdraw
A fraudster withdrew money from a Kings Highway man’s bank account on Jan. 5.
The man, who lives near E. 35th Street, told police that someone made three withdrawals totaling $300 between 1 pm and 1:30 pm to his account, according to cops.
