Scooting off
A crook took off with a man’s scooter from his building on Lorraine Street on Aug. 19.
The man left his scooter in the lobby of his building near Otsego Street at 8 am, and noticed it was stolen when he returned at 6:50 pm, according to police.
Sleepy mugging
A sneak swiped a woman’s phone while she slept on the F train on Aug. 20.
The woman told police she got on a Queens-bound F train at Jay Street–MetroTech station and fell asleep at 1:30 am, waking up later in Coney Island. She then fell back asleep and woke up Smith–Ninth Streets station, where she noticed her gray iPhone 6 Plus with a pink and white milkshake-shaped phone case was gone, according to police.
Hard-knock fight
A woman attacked another woman on Henry Street on Aug. 18.
The victim and the attacker got into a verbal dispute near Mill Street at 4:25 am that escalated when the brute grabbed the victim by her hair, causing her to fall to the ground and land on a pole, bruising her head, according to cops.
Clean crime
A good-for-nothing took a woman’s clothes from a Lorraine Street laundromat on Aug. 18.
The victim’s assortment of mixed clothing was stolen by an unknown thief at the laundromat near Columbia Street between 10:30 and 11 am, according to cops.
Stolen phone
Someone stole a man’s phone from an employee bathroom on Beard Street on Aug. 15.
The man told cops that his black Xiaomi cellphone and black case were stolen from inside an employee bathroom at the store at 1:20 pm.
