Thieves nabs wallet left on mall massage chair

A thief made off with a man’s wallet he left on a massage chair inside an Avenue U shopping center on Aug. 6.

The victim told police he police he left his wallet at the mall near Flatbush Avenue at 5:20 p.m., and returned after a half-hour to find his valuables stolen.

The thief later used the victim’s debit card to make an illicit $42 purchase at a gas station, cops said.

Card shark

Some crook looted an unlocked car parked on E. 64th Street on Aug. 6, stealing a wallet.

The victim told police he left his car near Strickland Avenue at 11:30 p.m., and returned the following morning to find someone had let themselves in and nabbed his credit cards.

The burglar made several unsuccessful attempts to purchase goods with the victim’s cards, before ultimately scoring paydirt at one retailer, where he was able to secure a $500 purchase, cops said.

The victim admitted to investigators that he forgot to lock his car, according to police.
