Left flat-footed

A good samaritan questioned a motorist as to why he hadn’t stopped after striking a parked vehicle on June 17 and had his foot run over for his trouble, police said.

The victim told police he was on Coney Island Avenue between Avenues N and O at noon when he saw a Nissan sedan strike the parked car. But instead of leaving a note, the 42-year-old motorist behind the wheel kept on going.

The witness caught up with the motorist at a red light on the next corner and asked him why he had failed to stop, but the driver said nothing and rolled off — catching the man’s toes under his wheels as he escaped.

Cops caught up with the motorist a short time later, charging him with assault in the third degree, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Running with cellphones

A thief ran off with an 18-year-old’s cellphone after a June 14 clash in Marine Park.

The teen said he was on East 38th Street between Flatbush Avenue and Avenue L at 10:10 pm when the unidentified thug grabbed him from behind, putting him in choke hold.

“Run your pockets,” the hooligan ordered, but the victim tried to fight the man off, dropping his cellphone in the process.

Taking the path of least resistance, the thug grabbed the phone and ran off, cops were told.

Senior robbed

A 75-year-old woman was knocked to the ground and robbed of her purse on June 18.

Police said that they are still searching for the thief, who attacked the senior on East 26th Street between Kings Highway and Avenue P in Midwood at 2:25 pm.

The senior said she had scratched her elbow when she was knocked to the ground.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Calls can be made to the 61st Precinct at (718) 627-6611. All calls will be kept confidential.

E. 17th burglary bash

Cops are investigating two burglaries which took place on East 17th Street on Father’s Day.

Police said the first home, which is between Quentin Road and Avenue R, was broken into sometime after 3 am on June 20. The thief forced open a second floor window and made off with $4,000 and a laptop computer.

The suspect then hit a home in the middle of the block at 8:50 am, but this time someone was inside.

The homeowner told police that he was in the basement when his house alarm was activated.

He ran upstairs, only to find a Hispanic man in his 20s inside his bedroom.

The startled thief jumped back out a window and disappeared, officials said.

Rock ‘N Rob

A brute bludgeoned a Bergen Beach teen with a rock during a harrowing robbery on June 14.

The victim told police he was on East 73rd Street between Avenues K and L at 10:40 pm when two males attacked him with the weapon and made off with his cellphone.

Cops were still looking for the thieves as this paper went to press.

Ave. T hold up

A 45-year-old man was held up — possibly at gunpoint — on June 16 during a quick exchange at the corner of Ryder Street and Avenue T.

Police said that the victim was nearing the corner just after 4 am when a stranger ran up and stuck a hard object in his back.

“Don’t look back,” the thief threatened. “If you look back, you’ll get hurt.”

Needless to say, the victim didn’t look back as the thief made off with his cash, cellphone and briefcase, police said.

Robbed of $200

A quartet of criminals jumped a 22-year-old on June 17, taking $200, police said.

The victim told police he was on Avenue R between East 12th and East 13th streets at 2:50 am when the suspects ran up and punched him in the face.

Cops caught one of the suspects — a 20-year-old — a short time later, charging him with robbery.

Robbed in Kings Plaza

A crew of five thieves ganged up on and attacked a 14-year-old girl as she shopped in Kings Plaza on June 16.

The victim told police she was inside the mall on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue U at 1:45 pm when the thugs attacked, punching her in the head as they made off with her purse and property.

Screen slip

A burglar cut his way through a screened-in Flatlands home on June 14, where he swiped a woman’s wallet.

The 58-year-old homeowner said someone sliced through a rear window screen of the Troy Avenue home, which is between Flatlands Avenue and Avenue M, just before 4 am.

The only thing taken was the wallet, the woman told police.

Electronics swipe

A thief forced his way into a Flatbush Avenue business on June 12, taking an assortment of pricey electronics.

Police said it was unclear how the thief entered the office, which is located between Avenues T and U.

Flatlands felony

The 45-year-old victim said he returned to his home on Flatbush Avenue, which is between Avenue K and East 38th Street, to find that someone had snapped the front lock to his door.

Invasive procedure

A very busy thief broke into two Flatlands homes on the same day, police said.

Cops were told that someone crawled through the basement window of one of the homes, which is between East 43rd Street and Troy Avenue, sometime after 9 am, and removed an undetermined amount of property.

Police believe he entered a second home on the same block a short time later, taking a cellphone and some jewelry.

Trunk raid

A thief rooted through a 24-year-old man’s car trunk on June 19 as the vehicle sat just down the block from Amersfort Park.

The motorist said he left the car on Avenue I between East 39th and East 40th streets at 6:46 pm. He returned a short time later to learn that someone entered the truck and removed several pricey electronics found inside.
