Wily crooks burglarized a West Ninth Street apartment overnight on March 16.
The 34-year-old resident of the duplex between Smith and Court streets said he was not home from noon until 3:30 am the following morning.
The victim told cops that the thieves stole his Pentax camera, wristwatch and a credit card.
Knob job
Home invaders broke into and burgled a Douglass Street apartment on March 11 by brazenly removing the doorknob from the entrance.
The daring culprits were undaunted even when a neighbor later told police that she saw the two men “working” on the apartment door. Oh yeah, they were working all right!
The victim, a 52-year-old man, said he was not in his home, which is between Smith and Hoyt streets, from 11:30 am to 4 pm, when the crooks stole two saws, a nail gun and toolbox.

Burglars struck a President Street apartment on March 12 while the woman who lives there was gone for just over an hour.
The victim, 35, told police she left her apartment, between Clinton and Court streets, at 5:30 pm for an hour and a half. When she came home, she said her laptop, iPod, digital camera, gold necklaces, rings and diamond earrings were gone.
Sock it to her
A hooligan violently mugged a teenage woman near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Nelson Street in the wee hours of March 11.
The brute allegedly hit the 19-year-old woman in the jaw at 12:50 am on the desolate street before stealing her purse, containing $35.
She was taken to Lutheran Hospital for treatment.
