The American Heritage Democratic Organization (AHDO) will hold a forum for the Democratic candidates for mayor at 7 p.m., June 1 at The American Legion Hall, 345 78th Street (between Third & Fourth avenues), second floor in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.
Invited to speak are Comptroller Bill Thompson and Council Member Tony Avella. The forum will give candidates an opportunity to present their platforms and answer questions from the audience.
AHDO is evaluating candidates for possible endorsement. The Democratic primary is held in the fall but candidates must petition to get on the ballot in June.
The forum, free and open to the public, will be moderated by Scott Klein, president, AHDO.
