Trio of thugs

A knife-wielding brute and his two partners in crime mugged a man when he was inside the Union Street R train station on Feb. 21.

The 25-year-old victim told police he was approaching the turnstile inside the station on Fourth Avenue at 11:20 pm when the first ski cap-clad suspect asked him for the time. When the victim pulled out his Samsung cellphone the thug whipped out a knife.

“Give me your phone or I’ll cut you,” the assailant demanded.

The second thief came up from behind the victim and snatched $100 from his front pocket, while the third suspect grabbed the phone out of the victim’s hand.

Big time heist

Police cuffed a man who allegedly shoplifted 36 watches from inside a Flatbush Avenue department store on Feb. 19.

An employee at the store near Atlantic Avenue told cops that the thief swiped the hoard of watches at 10:45 pm and left the store without paying.

The suspect faces a top charge of grand larceny, according to a police report.

Gym rat

A crook ripped off a gym-goer who left his belongings in a locker inside a Ninth Street fitness center on Feb. 23.

The 54-year-old victim told cops that he stashed his pants — holding two credit cards, a debit card, and $35 in the pocket — in the locker before going to workout at the gym between Fifth and Sixth avenues at noon.

When he returned an hour and a half later, his money and bankcards were gone.

The victim told police that the perp made purchases with the victim’s debit and credit card at three different chain stores.

No car mirror

Someone ripped off the side-view mirror of a woman’s Mercedes Benz parked on Eastern Parkway on Feb. 20.

The 44-year-old victim told cops that she parked her ride on the street near Flatbush Avenue at 8 am. When she returned seven hours later the car’s side mirror was missing.

Fun time gone wrong

A thief grabbed a woman’s belongings while she was at Atlantic Avenue’s new entertainment and sports mecca on Feb. 16.

The 27-year-old victim, who was at the arena near Flatbush Avenue for a concert, told police that she left her wallet and iPhone on the seat when she got up to go to the bathroom.

When she returned shortly after, her cellular device, debit card, MetroCard, and green card were missing.

A phone-tracking device found the cell’s SIM card in the trashcan in the venue.

Private party crook

Cops suspect a sly bandit stole handbags from two different women attending the same private party at a Seventh Street art studio on Feb. 24.

One 22-year-old victim told cops that she left her bag holding $45, her wallet, driver’s license, credit card, and health insurance card behind the bar at the venue between Second and Third avenues at 1:15 am, and it was gone when she went to get it within minutes.

Another 31-year-old victim, who filed a separate police report, told cops that her bag containing $90, bankcards, cellphone, and her keys vanished at around the same time from behind the bar.

Now you see it

A robber looted a woman’s leather bag while she was perusing the aisles in an Atlantic Avenue department store on Feb. 21.

The 35-year-old victim told cops that she placed her bag holding a $350 electronic dictionary, $120, a monthly MetroCard, an English textbook, makeup, bank cards, and keys, underneath her shopping cart at 6:30 pm when she was in the store near Flatbush Avenue.

She realized her bag was gone 30 minutes later, police say.

Car gone

A thief stole a woman’s car parked on Baltic Street sometime between Feb. 20 and Feb. 21.

The 43-year-old victim told cops that she parked her locked gray Chrysler on the street between Third and Fourth avenues at 9 pm. When she returned the next day at 10:30 am, her ride was gone.

No broken glass was found at the scene, cops say.
