A thief threatened to kill a woman and stole her iPod and phone inside a S. Second Street building on Jan. 15.
The tenant said she had entered her building between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue at 9:50 pm when the man approached her and said, “I am going to kill you! See you in the other life!”
He then put the woman in a headlock, causing her nose to start bleeding. He took her phone and iPod and fled.
Dirty rider
A jerk punched a woman and took her handbag on Montrose Avenue on Jan 13.
The victim was bringing her BMX bicycle into her building between Manhattan Avenue and Leonard Street at 5:10 am when the jerk followed her inside. He then punched her in the head, grabbed her bag — which contained $740 — and ran off.
Stuck up
A knife-wielding robber stole a man’s iPhone on Boerum Street on Jan. 11.
The victim said he was outside of his apartment near Harrison Place at 10:15 pm when the jerk approached him and shouted, “Give me your phone!”
The victim gave it up and the man fled.
Moore computers
A thief stole two laptops from a Moore Street apartment near Bogart Street on Jan. 10.
The tenant told cops he went to sleep at 2:30 am, but when he awoke at 7:30 am, he saw that his door was unlocked and the computers were missing.
Sold-out concert
A thief stole $10,000 worth of music equipment and instruments from a Chevrolet parked on McKibbin Street on Jan. 10.
The driver parked his car near White Street at noon, but when he returned to the spot at 9:30 am the next day, he saw three guitars, two amps, cymbals, and a set of speakers were all gone.
