Call it Marine bark!

A pack of Brooklyn animal shelters are bringing dogs and cats who need homes to Marine Park today for Borough Purr-sident Adams’s Adopt-a-Shelter Animal Day.

A Bath Beach natural dog treat bakery, Fort Greene fido walkers, and a Bedford-Stuyvessant doggy day care are offering advice on owning pets, and the Department of Health is issuing pooch licenses, which the city requires by law. But dog owners won’t be fined for showing up with a tag-less tag along, and the city even waives the $2 renewal fee at public events, according to the department’s website.

Adopt-A-Shelter Animal Day at Marine Park Avenue U Parking Lot (Avenue U between Stuart and E. 33rd streets in Marine Park). April 30 from 11 am to 3 pm. Free.
