Pill popper pinch
A thief jonesing for pain killers raided an Avenue N pharmacy on March 17.
Workers at the store, which is at E. 34 Street, said the thief entered at 11 am and flashed his gun.
“Put painkillers in the bag or I’ll shoot,” he demanded before running off with the pharmaceuticals.
Beaten and robbed
A thug jumped a 42-year-old man on Avenue J on March 13, taking his wallet.
The victim was nearing E. 58th Street at 1 am when the thief attacked, leaving his victim with injuries to the head and eyes.
Stabbed on Utica
A thug stabbed a 32-year-old man in the chest on March 18 during a violent clash on Avenue N.
The victim told police that he was having words with his assailant — a complete stranger — near Utica Avenue when he the thug lunged at him.
Nostrand raid
Three thieves beat a Nostrand Avenue grocer with a metal scooter during a March 19 raid.
The victim told police that he was inside the store, which is between Avenues I and J, at 6:50 pm when the thieves came in and started pocketing a number of items.
The worker tried to stop the thefts, but one of the thieves struck him with the scooter.
Taxi rob
Two gun-toting thieves robbed a taxi driver on March 19 during a furious altercation on E. 55th Street.
The driver told police that he was between Glenwood Road and Avenue H when the two suspects approached and flashed a silver firearm.
The thieves then opened the door, snagged the driver’s cellphone, and ran off.
Air conditioner sneak
A thief entered an E. 51st Street home on March 19 after removing an air conditioner from a side window.
The tenants of the home, which is located between Avenue O and Fillmore Avenue, said someone entered the home at about 1 am — after pulling the air conditioner out of the window it was housed in and crawling through the opening he had made.
Shot down
A gunman opened fire on a 28-year-old on Flatlands Avenue on March 8, wounding him.
Witnesses said that the gunman let loose a barrage of bullets at 3 am near E. 56th Street, hitting his victim in the neck, back and arm. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, cops said.
Shoved out
A wayward motorist — possibly a dollar van driver — left a 33-year-old man hospitalized on March 12 after he forced his victim out of his van while driving near the corner of Avenue I and Utica Avenue.
Witnesses said the victim was thrown out of the van at 9:10 pm. The victim was knocked unconscious and rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he remained in the intensive care over the weekend, cops said.
Cut for cash
A 19-year-old goon sliced a young woman with a knife on March 11 during a bloody mugging on E. 63rd Street in Bergen Beach.
The thief cut the woman’s forehead during the 3:20 am scuffle — only to be arrested a short time later.
