Swept away
Three thugs battered a man with a broomstick and stole his backpack aboard the N train on Avenue U on June 30, according to cops.
The victim said the train was pulling into the station near the corner of W. Seventh Street at 5:20 am when the terrible trio burst through the train’s rear doors and demanded he give them money to buy beer. The man refused, and two of the brutes began punching him, while the third cracked him on the head and back with the wooden pole.
The savages then removed the man’s backpack — containing his cellphone, vitamins, and reading glasses — and fled the train at the Bay Parkway station.
Home invasion horror
A gang of gun-toting goons raided a W. Ninth Street home to steal the tenant’s cellphone on June 25, police report.
The victim told cops he was sitting at his kitchen table in his apartment between Bay Parkway and Avenue O at 10:10 pm when suddenly four masked thugs kicked down his door.
One of the savages shoved the muzzle of a gun against the victim’s head an ordered him to look at the floor. The fiends then took the man’s Galaxy phone and ran out.
Neighbors hurting neighbors
A fiend sliced up his neighbor’s face with a box-cutter and stole his wallet on Bay 26th Street on June 30, police state.
The victim said he was walking to his apartment building between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at 4 am when the not-so-friendly man next door came up and asked him for money.
The victim refused, and the villain punched him, then pulled out the utility knife and slashed him across the face. The crook then ran into his adjoining building.
Bay Parkway gunplay
A thug shot up a 62-year-old man on 62nd Street on June 27, authorities allege.
The victim said he was near Bay Parkway at 4:38 am when unknown assailant in an unknown location fired four bullets into his body.
Customer disservice
A mad malefactor savagely struck a fellow customer on the arm with a shopping basket at an 86th Street grocery store on June 29, cops say.
The victim reported than he was inside the store on 23rd Avenue at 11:45 pm when he and the vicious villain got into an argument. The unhappy shopper then lashed out with the basket and hit the victim on his left limb, causing a small cut. An investigation into the dastardly act is underway.
