Benson-hurts

Three brutes had strong words for the guy they beat and robbed on 65th Street on March 3, cops said.

The trio jumped their victim near 16th Avenue in Bensonhurst at 9:45 pm, police said. One goon hit the guy in the leg and arm with a baseball bat, another pointed a silver handgun at him, and a third took $300 from the victim’s pocket, NYPD officials said.

Before they fled, one man told the battered guy to “drop the case,” a police report says. Paramedics took the man to Lutheran Medical Center, police said.

Crash and burn

A car thief caused a four-car pile-up on 64th Street on March 7, according to the authorities.

A guy left his car running on 86th Street between Bay 23rd Street and 20th Avenue at 1:55 am, and a joy-rider swooped in and took the car, police said. The thief drove to 64th Street between 23rd and 24th avenues and hit two cars and sent them flying into a fourth vehicle, a police report says.

The no-goodnik took a cellphone, wallet, and $400 from the ride, then fled, law enforcement officials said.

Purse-snatching punk

A bandit snatched a 64-year-old woman’s purse on 65th Street on March 5, officers said.

The goon ran up behind the woman between W. Fifth and W. Sixth streets in Gravesend at 3:25 pm, grabbed the bag, and fled behind a nearby building, police said.

Smashed

A stranger smashed a drunk guy in the face with a bottle on new Utrecht Avenue on March 8, according to a report.

The victim was walking home between 71st and 72nd streets in Bensonhurst at 4 am when the goon hit him, cutting his forehead and cheek, police said. The victim was intoxicated and couldn’t provide any more details about what happened, the report says.
