There are none so blind as those who will not see.
The most amazing notion about this current presidential year is that everyone knows Hillary and Bill Clinton. We all lived through the Bill scandal with Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, and Paula Jones. We all know he was impeached (though never removed from office). We all know what Hillary has done and failed to do — Benghazi, e-mails, and now blaming Colin Powell — puh-lease! Let’s not even discuss the Clinton Foundation, and her claim that if she is elected, she will stop accepting money from various parties. Too late, too late. We all know this, and yet, no one seems too bothered by it — or to care.
I am not saying that Trump’s money is any cleaner, but we already had two terms of the Clinton administration, so why would anyone want to vote for Hillary when we already know what she isn’t going to do for us?
Voting for Hillary because she is a woman is as ridiculous as voting for anyone on the basis of their sex, color, or religion.
The fact that Hillary is female means absolutely nothing, her gender doesn’t make her more or less equipped to handle the job. However, her past record of scandal, her inept handling of foreign affairs, and the fact that she has lied through her very pearly whites about almost everything she is involved in, makes her very clearly the wrong choice.
Yes, Donald Trump is unpolished. And yes, Donald Trump likes those superlatives. But the most important thing that Donald Trump is that he is not a lifer. He hasn’t spent years in the political arena fattening his pockets on the backs of his constituents and making promises to all those hangers-on lobbyists. So why not give him a chance? Or is the political machinery so blind that it will not see?
Not for nuthin,™ but I say it’s high time we give someone else a chance. What’s the worst that can happen? Government gets smaller, we get some business back in this country? Not that bad when you consider the alternative.
