Tween a rock and hard place

12 monkeys

Police arrested two 12-year-olds for allegedly filching a woman’s bracelet and cellphone at the corner of DeKalb Avenue and Flatbush Avenue Extension on April 22.

According to the victim, one tween asked her for the time — it was 11:50 am — and then snatched her telephone out of her hand and the jewelry from her wrist.

Roomhate

A college student arrived moments too late to stop a burglar from stealing his Willoughby Avenue roommate’s laptop and Zune mp3 player on April 22.

The 20-year-old victim’s roommate told police he returned the apartment between Hall Street and Washington Avenue at 3 pm. He said he heard a strange noise from his roommate’s bedroom and when he entered, he saw the burglar fleeing.

Steal a look

A thief broke into a mid-priced car and stole some high-end luxury goods on Grand Avenue on April 25.

A woman, 26, told police she parked a Toyota Camry between Flushing and Park avenues at 1 am and came back at 3:50 am to find the passenger’s-side window broken and her Louis Vutton bag, Chanel earrings, Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, leather jacket, and pair of ballet shoes gone.
