Two gals, one gun

2 gals, 1 gun

A masked man held two women up for their purses on Leonard Street on Jan. 24.

The two were walking between Devoe and Ainslie streets at about 12:15 am when a jerk with his face covered by a mask ran up, pointed a gun at one of the women and told both gals to hand over the purses.

The jerk yanked one victim’s chain right off her neck before he fled.

Lock luck

Someone rummaged through a Meserole Street renter’s apartment while she was away and stole more than $2,000 worth of equipment and cash on Jan. 24.

The victim told police that she was sure she had locked the door before she left at about 4 am, but she still returned to the apartment, which is between Bushwick Avenue and Waterbury Street, at 1:30 pm to find the door open and her cellphone, $1,500 and other expensive electronics missing.

Without cash

Two jerks brandishing handguns held up three employees at Rainier Fine Foods on Metropolitan Avenue on Jan. 22.

The two entered the store — which is between Driggs Avenue and Roebling Street — at about 5 pm and pointed their guns at two employees.

One perp then told an employee, “Take me to the office where the boss is,” whereupon the group moved to the manager’s office.

The perps demanded cash, but the manager said he didn’t have any, so the thugs punched him repeatedly in the face and left.
