Beth Israel Medical Center volunteers Linda Karasavva and Phyllis Maresca were honored by the United Hospital Fund during its 15th Annual Hospital Auxilian and Volunteer Achievement Awards ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria.
The Beth Israel honorees were among 92 volunteers chosen from New York City’s more than 50,000 health care volunteers, which include students, full-time and part-time workers and professionals, retirees, and others, who give their time unselfishly to improve health care in the city.
“Volunteers contribute more than time to Beth Israel
