Cops on Tuesday cuffed a 16-year-old who they allege committed a string of shoe-related crimes with another teen near the Atlantic Terminal Mall this month.

The suspect and his still-unidentified accomplice first arranged a meeting with a 36-year-old woman to purchase a pair of Kanye West–designed “Yeezy” sneakers by the retail center near Flatbush Avenue at 11:33 am on March 14, police said.

The youngsters initially attempted to pay for the Adidas-brand shoes with $400 in counterfeit cash, but the pair instead just grabbed the footwear and ran for it when the victim balked at the bogus bills, authorities said.

The teenagers didn’t wait long before their next illicit feat, and four days later, met a 27-year-old woman at the subway station beneath the Atlantic Avenue mall under the pretense of buying another pair of the German shoemaker’s trendy trainers, according to cops.

This time, however, the kids didn’t bother offering any fake money, but one of the suspects did try on the sneakers and gave them back to the victim before the 16-year-old ripped the kicks out of the woman’s hands and the two fled, authorities said.

The arrested teen is well known to officers, who said they cuffed him no less than five other times since 2017, including for one incident when he beat a guy up for $3 dollars.
