Vandal breaks car window but leaves empty-handed

Burglary fail

A punk broke into a car parked on Columbia Street sometime overnight on June 3, but didn’t take anything.

The victim said she left the car near Loraine Street at 5 pm, but when she returned at 8:50 am the next day, realized someone had broken the rear passenger-side window and rummaged through the car, leaving empty-handed, cops said.

Car fight

A jerk pushed and kicked a man during an argument in a garage on Bowne Street on June 1.

The victim said he was arguing with the man near Imlay Street at 4 pm about a car when the man pushed him to the floor and kicked him in the head.

Police are searing for the man and say the victim knows him.

Citi Bike arrest

Police arrested a man who they say stole a Citi Bike on May 31.

A company representative said that someone stole the docked bike from the corner of Wolcott and Van Brundt streets at 9:20 pm.

Police said they arrested an 18-year-old man in relation to the incident. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
