Verses & Reverses

As a girl, my wife pressed her nose
Against shop windows, both those
Providing views of high fashion
And appealing to her on-sale passion.
No more. For her elegant nose —
Disdaining all store windows
In favor of merchandise sites
Where her fancy so gladly alights —
nuzzles (a shopping queen!)
The beloved computer screen.
She swoons that there is no topping
Having fingers do the shopping.
