This is a big weekend for service changes, so it’s a good idea to cut out this column and tape it to the back of your hand to keep it all straight. (All changes are Saturday, Oct. 15 at 12:01 am to Monday, Oct. 17 at 5 am unless otherwise noted):
2, 3: No trains in Brooklyn. Take the 4 or 5 trains instead. No service at Clark Street at all.
D: Stillwell Avenue-bound trains run on the N from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue. Stillwell Avenue-bound trains skip 71st Street (all times).
F: Stillwell Avenue-bound trains run on the A line from W. Fourth Street in Manhattan to Jay Street-Metrotech. All trains skip Smith-Ninth Street (all times).
G: No trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn streets and Church Avenue. Train runs in two segments: Hoyt-Schermehorn to Bedford Avenue and Beford Avenue to Court Square in Queens. All trains skip Smith-Ninth Street (all times).
J: Queens-bound trains skip Flushing Avenue and Hewes and Lorimer streets.
M: Trains run every 20 minutes between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle avenues.
Q: No Brooklyn-bound trains between Manhattan and the Prospect Park station. Take N or R to Atlantic-Pacific, where there will be shuttle buses instead.
