Police released disturbing video on Sunday of a violent ruffian kicking a woman down an escalator at a Brooklyn train station last week.
The victim of the Sept. 9 attack suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention, authorities said.
According to law enforcement sources, the incident happened at about 7:15 pm on Sept. 9 as the 32-year-old woman rode up the escalator at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station.
Prior to getting on the escalator, cops said, the victim got into a verbal exchange with the perpetrator.
The video shows the brute muscling his way up the escalator and stepping ahead of the woman. He then turns around and delivers a vicious kick, sending the woman brushing past another rider and down the escalator to the bottom.
After delivering the kick, the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the 78th Precinct and the NYPD Transit Bureau. The woman suffered various cuts and bruises to her back, arms, legs, right knee and right thigh, as well as trauma to her left ankle. However, police noted, she refused medical attention at the scene.
