Bike bandits
Three lowlifes stole a man’s bike on Batchelder Street on June 7.
The victim said he was riding near Avenue V at 4:48 pm when a man on a bike pulled up in front of him, blocking his movement. Another man then put his foot on the victim’s tire, and pulled the bike away from him, giving the bike to a third person who then rode off with it, cops said.
Police said the bike is made by Specialized and is red and black.
Not the ice cream
A good-for-nothing stole cash from a woman’s apartment on E. 15th Street on June 3 — and ate the ice cream in her freezer.
The victim said she left her house near Avenue V at 1 pm, but when she got back at 8:45 pm, realized someone had ransacked her apartment and blocked the front door with chairs. The thief took $900 iand the rear window was open, police said.
The victim also said someone had eaten ice cream in her freezer and thrown it out the window.
Thousands stolen
Some jerks stole thousands from a bodega on Avenue Y the night of June 3.
The victim said workers closed the store near E. 19th Street at 10 pm, but when they got back at 6 am, realized someone had taken the lock of the gate and stole $8,000 from the cash register.
Police said video footage shows two people entering with masks and gloves, taking the money, and leaving.
Neighbor witnesses burglary
A bum stole cameras and more from an apartment on E. 15th Street on June 5.
The victim said he left his home near Avenue U at 1:30 am, but when he got back at 7:15 am, realized someone had taken his iPad, two cameras, and cash. The apartment was ransacked and the rear bedroom window open, according to officers.
Police said that a neighbor heard noise coming from the residence and saw someone flee via the fire escape.
