Was he slashed?

Fakin’ it?

A man filed a suspicious crime report in Staten Island claiming that he had been stabbed repeatedly 15 hours earlier on Second Place in Carroll Gardens on Jan. 24.

The alleged victim, 20, told police that another man demanded money from him at 9 pm near the corner of Court Street. The supposed mugger responded by stabbing the victim in the face, chest and right thigh before taking $5 and remnants of a pack of Marlboro cigarettes.

In spite of the knife wounds, the victim told police that he did not go to a hospital or even call 911, instead he went to a Staten Island stationhouse the next day to make the complaint.

Under the knife

Police arrested a man who slashed a woman with a knife inside a Henry Street apartment on Jan. 23.

The 54-year-old victim and 56-year-old assailant were arguing at 11:30 pm between Lorraine Street and Centre Walk when the man wielded a knife and cut the woman’s hand.

Under one roof

A deliveryman was lulled into a West Ninth Street apartment building where he was mugged and beaten by three men on Jan. 19.

One of the hooligans let the victim, 45, into the building and sent him up to the fifth floor of the building between Hicks and Columbia streets. At that point, a man with a gun bounded down from the sixth floor and demanded the gofer’s money. A third man, at nearly the same moment, appeared with a baseball bat.

He clubbed the deliveryman once, though didn’t cause any serious injuries, but gave the hoodlums the opportunity to steal $45 and $43 in pizza from the battered deliveryman.
