A car flipped onto its roof during a freak mid-day collision Monday in the Brooklyn-bound lanes of the Brooklyn Bridge — and The Brooklyn Paper was there.
There were no major injuries to the car’s three occupants, police and fire department officials said, and by the time we drove by and snapped these shots, no one was inside the vehicle.
A police spokesman the crash occurred about 1:35 p.m. when a BMW sedan was sideswiped, went out of control and overturned. The spokesman said the driver and passengers of the BMW apparently crawled out through open windows.
A spokeswoman for the Fire Department, said the three persons who climbed out of the car refused medical attention, and later left the scene.
Neither police nor fire officials had any information about the other vehicle reportedly involved.
