We have lift off: P.S. 197 students jump at the chance to help out

Nimble−footed youngsters answered the call with a fancy foot during a benefit jump−a−thon at Public School 197.

The annual benefit had students performing traditional and new rope−jumping styles, transforming the gymnasium of the school, 1599 East 22nd Street, into a hall of skill and showmanship.

Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
