Weekend looks pretty good

Not a lot of changes on the rails this weekend, but a few lines are tricky. Read on for all the transit news that affects your weekend plans. (Saturday, July 29 at 12:01 am to Monday, Aug. 1 at 5 am unless otherwise noted):

4: No trains between Utica Avenue and the Brooklyn Bridge. Take the 3 train, which will be extended to New Lots Avenue.

D: Manhattan-bound trains run on the N from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street.

F: All trains skip Smith-Ninth Street (all times).

G: No trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue. For Coney Island-bound service, take the A train from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to Jay Street-Metrotech and transfer to the F.

L: The L operates in two sections: from Eighth Avenue in Manhattan to Broadway Junction and from Broadway Junction to Rockaway Parkway, every 24 minutes.

N: Trains stop at DeKalb Avenue and run local between Pacific Street and 59th Street in both directions. Coney Island-bound trains run on the D line from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue.

Q: Manhattan-bound trains skip Neck Road and Avenues H, M and U.
