Get your thumbs green at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s 33rd annual “Making Brooklyn Bloom.” This year’s workshops include “dive into compost bins,” “soil contamination in urban gardens,” and “farmer’s yoga.” There will also be exhibits from local greening organizations, walking tours of the garden, and a keynote address by urban farmer Karen Washington.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats, a troupe from Cangzhou, China, tumble into the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College for “Cirque Ziva” — an awe-inspiring display of balancing, juggling, and contortion, mixed with traditional dance and eye-catching costumes.
