True story — nerd-folk duo the Doubleclicks named one of their albums after a headline written by your esteemed arts editor. If this show of good taste is not enough to recommend their gig at the Way Station tonight, go for the sweet and funny songs about role-playing games, “Pride and Prejudice,” and internet trolls. And because they have a cello.
9 pm at the Way Station [683 Washington Ave. between Prospect Place and St. Marks Avenue in Prospect Heights, (347) 627–4949, www.waystationbk.blogspot.com]. $5.

Kitty pride
If you still laugh every time someone sends you a Youtube video of a cat riding a Roomba, acting like a person, or dressed in a ridiculous outfit, the First (and Probably Last) Annual New York Film and Video Festival for Humans is probably for you. There will be two editions — a kid-friendly screening in the afternoon, and an adults-only version at night. You can also bring your own videos to show.
1 pm and 8 pm at Galapagos Art Space [16 Main St. at Water Street in Dumbo, (718) 222–8500, www.galapagosartspace.com]. $20 adults, $10 kids.

Bizarre Bard
Avant-garde Shakespeare? Yes, it is the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Next Wave festival. In “Shakespeare’s Sonnets,” Bertolt Brecht’s Berliner Ensemble will perform 25 sonnets set to music by singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. And the whole thing is directed by the inimitable Robert Wilson, so expect it to look spectacularly creepy and weird.
7:30 pm at the Brooklyn Academy of Music [30 Lafayette Ave. between Ashland Place and St. Felix Street in Fort Greene, (718) 636–4100, www.bam.org]. $25–$105.

British steel
The members are probably more likely to be sleeping after midnight these days, but British heavy metal band Judas Priest is still kicking on. The group is heading out to the highway to Barclays Center for some hot rockin’. Think they can’t rock forever? You’ve got another thing comin’.
8 pm at Barclays Center [620 Atlantic Ave. at Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights, www.barclayscenter.com]. $47.40–$99.
