A crew of hooligans smashed the windows of 20 cars early on Tuesday morning in Fort Greene, police said.
Cops fielded a call from a bystander at 4:41 am reporting a roving band of four or five 20-somethings running away from the scene beneath the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, according to the NYPD. The vehicles were parked near Clermont Avenue in the lot that runs along Park Avenue, law enforcement officials said.
The bandits, who police say were wearing hooded sweatshirts, looted items from some of the vehicles, but it is not clear if all were burglarized, cops stated.
