Inside job?

A sneaky crook managed to swipe a flat-screen TV from a Prospect Place apartment on Dec. 2 while a friend of the tenant was watching the place.

The 30-year-old resident went away for the weekend, leaving her buddy in charge of the pad, which is between Vanderbilt and Underhill avenues. The crook snagged a 32-inch Samsung display between 2 and 7 am and left the window open on his way out.

Highway robbery

Two modern-day highwaymen stole a pharmacy’s daily receipts from the manager as he walked on Flatbush Avenue on Dec. 1.

The hoods made their move at the corner of Sterling Place at 3:10 pm. A witness said the shorter of the pair brandished a silver .38 while a taller man wearing a bandana grabbed $12,000, plus checks made out for $170,000.

Great escape

An enterprising thief climbed a fire escape to rob a Prospect Place apartment on Nov. 26 and made off with a laptop and a pile of jewelry.

When the victim returned home from work at 9 pm, the door of her apartment — which is at the corner of Underhill Avenue — was latched from the inside. She told cops that the crook stole a Dell laptop, some DVDs and $800 worth of jewelry.
