Bottle bashing
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly smashing a glass bottle over another woman’s head inside a Flatbush Avenue hotel on Oct. 29. The victim told police she was inside the hotel between Tillary and Bridge streets at 11 pm, when the suspect bashed her with the bottle, and fled to parts unknown. Following the attack, 84th Precinct detectives managed to stitch some clues together, and arrested the suspect on Nov. 1, charging her with assault, cops said.
Criminal appetite
Some thief used a Schermerhorn Street community service provider’s account information to purchase more than $13,000 worth of seafood, meat, and candy on three dates between Aug. 31 and Oct. 23. An employee for the business located between Bond and Nevins streets told police she noticed three outrageous purchases charged to her account, including $3,514 from a lobster joint, $6,000 from a butcher, and $3,632 from a candy store, each of which were delivered to different Brooklyn addresses.
Jailhouse bruise
Four brutes assaulted a prisoner inside an Atlantic Avenue corrections facility on Oct. 31.
The victim reported the attack to police after he was released from the prison between Boerum Place and Smith Street later that day, and claimed the gang jumped him in the joint, tenderizing his face with a flurry of vicious blows at around 2:30 am.
Night of terror
Cops busted an 18-year-old man for his alleged part in the gunpoint robbery of a man on Jay Street on Oct. 31.
The victim told police he was near John Street at 8:30 pm, when a man walked up to him and asked for the time. The hapless pedestrian turned around to notice two more men approaching him, their faces covered and weapons, including a knife and a pistol, clutched in their hands, cops said. The goons demanded his cash before slugging him in the face and grabbing $500 in cash and a cellphone from him, according to police. Police arrested the suspect later that night, and charged him with robbery.
Out of time
A thief grabbed a pricey Rolex watch off a man inside a popular Flatbush Avenue diner on Oct. 31.
The victim told police he was inside the eatery between Dekalb Avenue and Fleet Street at 9:55 pm, when the suspect stalked up and uttered the chilling threat, “I will kill you,” before forcing the expensive timepiece from off his wrist.
Sneak attack
Somebody bashed a 25-year-old woman in the face with a mysterious object on Willoughby Street on Oct. 31.
The victim told police she was near Jay Street at 8:40 pm, when something soared through the air and collided with her face, opening up a nasty gash.
Bad delivery
Three crooks colluded to steal a package from a deliveryman on Wyckoff Street on Oct. 1.
The victim told police he was between Smith and Court streets at 7:10 pm, when a man suddenly ripped the parcel from his grip, and passed it to another man, who took off on foot.
The first thief, meanwhile, ducked into a waiting getaway car operated by a third accomplice, and the pair sped away from the bewildered deliveryman, cops said.
He’s fired
A employee allegedly ripped off the Flatbush Avenue diner he worked at to the tune of $154,000 between August and November, cops said.
The owner of the eatery between Dekalb Avenue and Fleet Street reported the theft on Oct. 25, claiming his one-time employee had systematically siphoned cash from the business by reporting false sales over the course of three months, according to investigators.
