A motorist struck and killed a Canarsie woman in the early morning Monday, mowing her down as she attempted to cross Foster Avenue, cops said.

A 911 call drew police and paramedics to the scene near E. 80th Street shortly after 7:46 am. When they found 41-year-old Marise Clerveau she was unconscious and suffering “severe body trauma,” according to police.

The woman was then rushed by paramedics to Brookdale Hospital, where she died.

The motorist who killed her, meanwhile, remained at the scene, cops said.

The victim was heading south along E. 80th Street, about three blocks away from her Canarsie home, and was crossing Foster Avenue when the 46-year-old driver of a 2005 Toyota sports utility vehicle plowed into her, according to police.

A police investigation of the collision remains ongoing, cops said.

No charges have been filed against the driver, according to police
