Someone shot a woman in the head as she was leaving Brooklyn Bridge Park on Monday evening, according to police.
Authorities say they found 23-year-old Michelle Marks lying dead on the sidewalk of Furman Street, between Joralemon Street and Atlantic Avenue, with a bullet wound to the head at 9:30 pm.
Marks was an employee of a pizzeria inside the park at Pier 6 and had just left work, according to park honcho Regina Meyer.
Police believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute, Meyer said.— with Lauren Gill
