Brutal stabbing
Cops arrested a man who they say stabbed a woman at the Borough Hall train station on May 3.
The victim was waiting for a train at the Joralemon Street station at 3:30 pm when the man stabbed her in the neck and back with a box-cutter, police said. She was rushed to Long Island College Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition as of Tuesday night.
Cops arrested the man who they said committed the crime later that day.

A crook broke into an MTA locker room at the Schermerhorn Street G train station on April 29 and stole $400 worth of construction equipment.
A transit worker told cops he locked the room on the Queens-bound platform of the station at Hoyt Street at 3 am. When he returned the next day at 6 am, the door to the storage room was open and the equipment was missing.
Vacation spoils
A thief broke into a Wyckoff Street apartment sometime between April 26 and April 30 and stole two computers, a cellphone, and an iPod.
The victim told police she left the house between Hoyt and Smith streets at 9 am on April 26 to go on vacation. When she returned on April 30 at 11:30 am, a window leading onto the fire escape was open, and the electronics were gone.
Numbers game
A thief stole a man’s newspapers on Livingston Street on May 5.
The victim said he was near Clinton Street at 8:45 am when the crook grabbed his copies of six newspapers. The news junkie fought back, saying, “Don’t mess with my numbers,” according to a police report.
But the crook made off with the newsprint.
Burgled
A crook broke into a Remsen Street home on April 30 — and left with a laptop, watch, and $800.
The terrified occupant told cops that she confronted the thief when he broke into her home between Hicks and Henry streets at 4:30 pm. The crook still made off with the goods.
Jewel heist
A thief stole a treasure trove of jewelry from a Pacific Street home on April 30.
The occupant said she left the house between Boerum Place and Smith Street at 10:15 am. She told police that when she returned at 5 pm, an air conditioner in one of her windows was pushed in and $45,000 worth of jewelry was missing.
Un-Courtly
A crook swiped $960 from a shopper on Court Street on April 30.
The victim told police she entered a store at Joralemon Street at 1:30 pm and left her wallet inside of her shopping cart. She said that she turned away for a minute, and when she looked down again the cash was missing from her wallet.
Play nice
A thief stole a woman’s purse at a Brooklyn Bridge Park playground on April 29.
The victim told cops that she left the purse unattended inside of the park’s Main Street Lot near Plymouth Street at 6:30 pm. When she returned to get it several minutes later, the purse was no longer there.
Laptop stolen
A crook swiped a laptop from an Atlantic Avenue acupuncture office on May 3.
The owner of the business between Hoyt and Bond streets said the crook came in at 1 pm and left 30 minutes later with the stolen computer.
