A city children services manager was so belligerent to his staff at a July 15 meeting that they called the cops on him, police said.
According to a police report, the Administration for Children Services administrator was meeting with his staff inside the agency’s Marcy Avenue office at 1 pm, but when the conference was over, he began threatening and verbally abusing the workers, several employees told cops.
They were so scared that they called security to calm him down. But the supervisor scratched the officers as they restrained him and hauled him away.
On Wednesday, workers refused to talk to a reporter about the harrowing incident in the building, which is at S. Ninth Street. The Administration for Childrens Services refused to confirm the incident and would not say whether the manager had been disciplined or fired for his alleged outburst.
