Opening day is almost here.
As this paper went to press, Ikea was giving reporters a sneak peek at its new store at One Beard Street in Red Hook before it officially opens on June 18.
A look at some of the Swedish furniture giant’s displays shows an emphasis on New York City style living – making the most of small spaces that combine a kitchen and living room in one.
The store’s grand opening celebration is set for June 18 when shoppers will be able to purchase an array of affordable home goods and be eligible to win special prizes, including gift cards.
