The geese ducked out of sight when the boogie-men arrived.

More than 400 of Brooklyn’s self-proclaimed bumpers and grinders rocked the boathouse last week to raise upwards of $60,000 for Prospect Park, and to usher in a new age of protected wildlife (at least that’s what we’re hoping).

Prospect Park Alliance’s Summer Soiree, the annual fundraising auction hosted by the park’s junior committee, was one bang-out, disco-themed party, featuring music, electric boatrides, hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.

This year’s theme, “Galactic Star Groove,” came with plenty of astronomical features, including lights hooked up to resemble planets and stars, giant lanterns, glow necklaces and even astronaut ice cream to get the tastebuds zooming.

Guest DJ Tennessee Thomas mixed up the beats — a move which had Alliance President Emily Lloyd breaking into a rare smile, if not a full-blown jig.

There’s always next year, Em!
