The corner of Berkeley Place and Eighth Avenue was littered with everything from volleyballs to crackers on Thursday after an SUV overturned in a horrific accident at around 5:30 pm.
The crash will no doubt add fodder to area residents’ complaints that the one-way avenue, which is often treated like a speedway by drivers, should be converted to a two-way street. Cops said that no one was seriously injured in the crash.
