Welcome to the real School of Rock!
A meeting of District 21’s Community Education Council (CEC) was transformed into a rambunctious concert when talented students from P.S. 216, located at 350 Avenue X, took to the stage to perform rousing renditions of classic and punk rock songs.
The fifth grade orchestra opened the show with lovely interpretations of traditional tunes like “When the Saints Go Marching In.”
Then it was the rock band’s turn to kick things up a notch.
