Robbed at gun point
Three tough guys robbed a man on Bay 32nd Street on Nov. 29.
According to police, the group approached the 51-year old victim at 11:15 p.m., pointed a gun at the side of his head and said “Give me everything.”
The other thieves then went into the victim’s pockets and removed jewelry and keys before running east on Bath Avenue, and then turned south onto Bay 32nd Street and hopped into a white getaway car.
No injuries were reported.
Going to get fired
An employee was caught stealing items from his place of work near Shore Parkway and Bay 36th Street on Nov. 27.
A witness told police they saw the 44-year old woman take electronics off store shelves, place them in trash bags and then leave the store at 9 a.m.
Bus bandit
A thief snatched a woman’s phone near Kings Highway and West 8th Street on Nov. 30.
Police said the woman was sitting on an MTA bus headed home when an unknown man approached her, snatched her cellphone out of her hand and ran off the bus at 6 p.m.
The robber headed east on Kings Highway. The victim was not able to track the phone.
House invasion
A 20-year old man robbed a Bensonhurst woman near the corner of 72nd Street and 19th Avenue on Dec. 1.
The victim told police the burglar entered her apartment by force through a rear window at 12:32 p.m. He allegedly grabbed $3,000 in cash and jewelry before running in an unknown direction.
The victim said she was at work during the time of the burglary.
Watch your cards
An unknown scammer robbed a man on Nov. 24.
According to police, the thief used the victim’s personal information to open two credit cards under his name and racked up a $7,068 total across the two cards. The thief’s identity is not known.
