Police cuffed a gunman man for allegedly throwing a helmet at a cop on Avenue T on March 12.

Boys-in-blue say they got into a chase with the motorcycle-riding suspect for riding with no license plate near Avenue S at 8:35 pm, and when they finally caught up with him, the suspect allegedly tried to flee on foot, throwing his helmet at an officer.

Officer managed to cuff the suspect, who they say is a known gang member, and discovered a loaded semi-automatic with a high capacity magazine in his bag, according to police reports. 

Glass attack

Police arrested a man for allegedly attacking a woman with a glass bottle inside a Bay Parkway bodega on March 14.

The victim told police that she and the stranger got into an argument inside the deli located between 85th and 86th streets at 8:15 am when the suspect grabbed a glass bottle and smacked her in the back of the head.  

Choked up

Cops arrested a man for allegedly choking his 65-year-old friend inside an Avenue T home on March 14.

The victim told police that he and the 32-year-old suspect got into an argument about finances inside the home by W. Fourth Street at 6 pm when the defendant allegedly wrapped his arm around the victim’s neck and choked him.

Stolen jewels!

Some thief ran off with $3,000 worth of jewelry from an 86th Street jewelry store on March 8.

The employee told police that the good-for-nothing said he wanted to sell a cross necklace at the store between Bay 28th and Bay 29th streets at 4 pm, but when the store clerk turned around, the lowlife grabbed jewelry from the display case and ran off.
