Slashed and dashed
An attacker sliced a man walking near New Utrecht Avenue on Sept. 27.
According to police, at 3:25 a.m. a man walked up to the victim saying “I will kill you” in Spanish. He then cut him in the head and hand. The attacker then ran in an unknown direction on foot.
The victim told police he recognized the attacker from the neighborhood.
Scooter bruiser
A brute hit another with an unusual object off 15th Avenue on Sept. 30.
The victim told police a man hit him with a scooter handle at 1:40 p.m., causing minor injuries to his right arm.
Jewelry shenanigans
A thief stole jewelry from an 87 year-old woman on 78th Street on Sept. 30.
Police say the victim was sitting on her porch at 4 p.m. when the robber pulled up to her house in a white BMW, put a chain around the victim’s neck and then took a $500 chain off of her neck.
The thief then hopped back in the BMW and sped off the wrong way down the street.
Stroller looter
A purse snatcher robbed a woman on 86th Street on Oct. 1.
According to police, a lady was shopping for groceries at a Food Market at 12:41 p.m. and she left her purse on her stroller. A thief then took her purse with her medical card, $1,400 in cash, and her SNAP benefit card and ID.
Basement baddie
A basement crook stole items from a residence on Bay Parkway on Sept. 27.
The victim told police an unknown robber used a tool to break into the basement at 4:04 p.m. and stole a bunch of construction tools, then snuck back out and disappeared into the night.
