Bandit steals $495 rug

Carpet snagger

A bandit stole a $495 rug from a Smith Street stoop sometime between Nov. 16 and 17.

The victim told police that the perp stole the delivery from outside the residence on the corner of Smith and Carroll streets sometime between 1:30 pm  and 11:30 am the following day.

Tip jar jerk

A pilferer stole $30 from a Carroll Street store’s tip jar on Nov. 17. 

An employee said that the burglar stole the money from the store at the corner of Henry and Carroll street at 11:08 am. 

Cellphone snatcher

A thief took a cellphone from a Court Street store on Nov. 14.

The victim told police that the bandit swiped an employee’s $830 Samsung Galaxy from the shop between Huntington and W. Ninth street at 6:17 pm. 

Pedaling thief

A thief stole two bikes from a storage room on Baltic Street on Nov. 11. 

The victim told police that the bandit snuck into the storage room between Smith and Hoyt streets at about 8:15 am and made off with the two bikes and the gear attached to them, worth $1,520 total.
