Carjacked!
A lowlife threatened a woman with a boxcutter and stole her car on W. Ninth Street on Jan. 22.
The victim told police that she was working on her computer in her 2019 Chevy Cruze between Court and Smith streets at 12:45 pm when the weapon-wielding robber opened the door and forced her out, before driving off in the $12,000 ride.
Cops later recovered the car after the pirate ditched the vehicle on the corner of Court and Bush streets and fled on foot, according to police reports.
Cab grab
Two women grabbed two phones from a cab driver on Baltic Street on Jan. 24.
The victim told police that he and the two women got into an argument while he was driving them between Hoyt and Bond streets at 1:10 am, when the thieves grabbed a $1,200 iPhone and a $900 Samsung phone from the front seat and high-tailed it.
That’s trashy!
Some yahoo nabbed three trash cans from a Clinton Street building sometime between Jan. 21 and Jan. 22.
The victim told police that the bandit made off with two paper recycling pails and one plastics recycling bin, valued together at $332, from inside the building between Carroll and Presidents streets.
Free wheeler
A burglar stole two tire rims from a BMW parked on the corner of Henry Street sometime between Jan. 18 and Jan. 20.
The victim told police that the freeloader removed the $900 tire rims from his 2015 BMW parked at the corner of Congress Street.
Bag snagged
A porch pirate stole with a pricey backpack from a President Street stoop on Jan. 11.
The victim told police that Ebay alerted her that the $240 designer backpack she had ordered online was delivered to her building between Henry and Clinton streets at 8:30 am, but when she stepped outside to retrieve the bag, the package was gone.
