Pirate steals brand new Volvo

A good-for-nothing rode off in a brand new Volvo parked on Clinton Street sometime between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2.

The victim told police that the pirate broke into the $48,000 car parked between Sackett and Union streets, before nabbing an extra set of keys inside the vehicle and driving off.

Sew not cool

A porch pirate stole a sewing machine from outside a Summit Street home on Nov. 29. 

The victim told police that the bandit snatched a package containing the $238 machine from outside a home by Columbia Street sometime between 6:30 pm and 9 pm.

Bike burglary

A pilferer stole an $800 bike and a helmet from inside a Henry Street house on Nov. 29.

The victim told police that the sneak thief snagged the pricey bike and its $60 protective headwear from the vestibule of the house near Warren Street sometime between 5 pm and 10:30 pm.
