A Family Affair

Pictured is Sgt. Lixandro Colon (center), a retired combat veteran with the Army National Guard who served for 23 years along with one year in Iraq and 2 months at Ground Zero in New York City. Colon is flanked by his sons Airman First Class Miguel Colon and Lance Corporal Alexsandro Colon. Colon is very proud of both his sons in their service to this country. He is especially proud that he was able to pin the shield on his oldest son’s, Miguel, uniform upon his Airforce graduation in Texas.
