Wild night

Two malefactors pushed their way into a teen’s home on E. 15th Street on Jan. 28, tied up another victim in the back of his car, and stole $40,000 plus a phone and bank cards, according to authorities.

The 19-year-old victim told police he heard a knock at the door of his home near Avenue T at about 3 am and when he went to open it, two villains pushed him inside and one of them brandished a firearm and asked where someone’s room was. The crooks forced the teen and another victim through the whole house and made them remove $40,000 from a safe and hand it to them, police said.

The raiders then fled the house as a third victim was coming home, and when he exited his car, the brutes struck him in the head with the firearm and then tied him up in the back of his car with duct tape and zip ties, according to authorities.

The 70-year-old woman told police she got back from vacation and returned to her home near Avenue R only to find that someone had stolen sterling silver dinner flatware and coins as well as $800 in cash. There was no forced entry, according to authorities.

A goon broke a woman’s door to her home on Avenue R sometime overnight on Jan. 27, police said.

The woman told police she left her home near E. 27th at about 2:30 pm and got back the next day around 7:30 pm to find the lock and frame on her rear door was broken. The vandal didn’t get inside or take anything, according to authorities.

Cut his way in

A jerk swiped tools from a construction site on Ocean Avenue sometime between Jan. 21 and Jan. 23, police said.

The punk cut the chain off the front door of the site near Avenue U and removed a demolition hammer and drill, officials said.

Four against one

Four bruisers punched a guy in the face and stole his wallet and shoes on Avenue T on Jan. 29, police said.
