Bank robbery yields $4,300

Bank robbery!

A gunman stole $4,300 from the Ridgewood Savings Bank branch on Third Avenue on Dec. 23.

Cops say that the perp entered the bank, which is between 85th and 86th streets, at about 10 am. The 6-foot-4 robber gave a teller a note that read, “This is a robbery. I have a gun. Give me all the money.” The teller did as he was told, but the thief wasn’t satisfied, pulling out his gun, waving it at the other tellers and forcing one to give him more money.

The perp stuffed the wad of cash in a black fanny pack and fled.

Car break-in

Some jerk broke into a car on 80th Street overnight on Dec. 23 to steal an iPod and clothes.

The victim said that she left her car between 12th and 13th avenues at around 10 pm. When she returned the next morning, her stuff was gone.

iPod scuffle

Some teenager snatched an iPod Touch from a woman on Third Avenue on Dec. 20.

The victim told cops that she was near 83rd Street at around 1:30 pm when the perp ran up behind her, grabbed her Apple product and fled.

Ridge rob

Someone snatched a purse from a woman on Bay Ridge Avenue on Dec. 20.

The victim told cops that she was between 11th and 12th avenues at around 8 am when some dude came up behind her, grabbed her purse and ran off. The bag contained a cellphone and credit cards.
