Bay Ridge is hopping and howling

Costumed canines, boozy bingo, and a whole lotta live music are waiting for you in Bay Ridge.

You can either take it easy Friday or have a wild night — we have you covered either way. Acoustic cover bands The Neighborhood Skells will serenade Lock Yard (9221 Fifth Ave. between 92nd and 94th streets) and Lords of the Fjords will croon at Schnitzel Haus (7319 5th Ave. between 73rd and 74th streets) starting at 9 pm.

If un-amplified music ain’t your bag, cruise over to the Greenhouse Cafe (7717 Third Ave. between 77th and 78th streets) to catch the fully electrified Windsor Terrors at 10 pm.

On Saturday, roll by Red White and Brew (8910 Fifth Ave. between 89th and 90th streets) to catch Full Disclosure with special guest drummer Walter Goldstein from 4 pm to 8 pm. And if the tunes are not enough of an enticement, consider the $40 all-you-can-drink beer special the bar will be running!

Then make a pilgrimage to the Wicked Monk (9510 Third Ave. between 95th and 96th streets), where Wild Hearted Son will go buck wild and make you forget you’re in a church-themed bar at 11 pm.

If your fiercer-than-average Sunday hangover has you feeling particularly aged, take the hair of the dog oldster-style during Bingo Brunch at Pour House (7901 Third Ave. between 79th and 80th streets). Fortunately for your head, it starts at 3 pm, so you can sleep in.

Once you have a nice buzz going, go catch the tail end of the Harvest Festival at Narrows Botanical Garden (in Shore Road Park between MacKay Place and 71st Street). There will be crafts and pumpkins for kids — pass! But there will also be a doggy costume contest! And let’s face it, what else would you rather do with a few under your belt than laugh at goofily-dressed pooches? The festival runs from noon to 5 pm.
