At least two bicycles were stolen last week in separate incidents.
Someone took a bike from the front yard of a St. Marks Avenue house on May 22. The 22-year-old owner told cops that she locked up her two-wheeler at around 6 pm in front of her house, which is between Classon and Vanderbilt avenues. But when she returned just before noon the next day, it was gone.
Four days later, someone stole a bike out of its owner’s backyard on Underhill Avenue between Bergen and Dean streets, at around 6 pm. The woman watched the thief grab her $200 bicycle and run down Dean Street.
Catfight!
An argument turned violent when a woman assaulted another woman outside a Bergen Street house on May 26, cops said.
The two women were arguing in front of the house, which is between Sixth and Carlton avenues, at around 2 am. Suddenly, the 32-year-old suspect began punching the 28-year-old victim in the neck and arms.
She also kicked her several times in the shins and ankle before finally walking away.
Car jacked
Someone stole hundreds of dollars in tools out of a parked car on Dean Street on May 25.
The 56-year-old owner of the car told cops that he had parked his vehicle between Vanderbilt and Underhill avenues at around 2:30 pm.
When he returned early the next morning, someone had opened the car’s unlocked passenger side door and grabbed more than $700 worth of electronics and tools from the backseat.
